There are a lot of speculations on what will happen if the Northern Gateway Project (pipeline extending from the OIlsands of Alberta to the Northern Coast of BC) is approved or rejected. Either way someone is not going to be happy and at the moment some investors are questioning if they should be investing in this project at all. Is Enbridge conducting meaningful and respectful engagement with the communities along the proposed corridor? Is it really just a few nations showing opposition or many? Could this whole ordeal be avoided in the first place?
